Our clients’ beautiful country home needed some updating. They wanted us to create continuity between the house and the yard by covering the masonry wall
After replacing the wasp filled bushes that used to live on this island, these home owners also wanted us to install a border to protect the new plants from stray tires. We installed ruble strips to hold in the dirt and mulch and then laid river stones. The texture of the river stones gives drivers a heads up that they are close to the island bed without hurting the tires.
The end result is a colorful, eye-catching garden bed.
