Art Of Stone Gardening

Enhancing your outdoor living space can change how you live and even how much you enjoy your home. Outdoor rooms expand your home’s usable area, giving you new places for relaxing, sharing time with loved ones and entertaining. Our temperate climate and the rolling terrain of the Appalachian Mountains foothills make Northeast Georgia an especially pleasant backdrop for adopting a gracious outdoor lifestyle.

Art of Stone Gardening has a 20-year history of creating fine landscapes that blend master-level stone masonry with beautiful and sustainable plantings. But we’re doing more than crafting outdoor spaces. We’re building outdoor lifestyles—from the ground up. Our family-owned, small business has put our signature on more than 1,200 projects in Dahlonega, Dawsonville, Gainesville, Lake Lanier, White County and all over the region.

We’d love to talk with you about yours.

Our Clients Say

The overall effect is exactly as I pictured in my ‘mind’s eye’! I love the natural look and the curve in the walkway. ….I like and trust the Brosches, you guys are creative, work with existing plants and don’t try to ‘create more work’. You offer suggestions and provide several options for the homeowner – I chose an option that I could afford, but offered the most visible impact….I love the communication you provided – letting me know when the work would begin…

Kathy Mellette, Gainesville GA
Art of Stone did a fantastic job for us here at the Atlanta History Center. They were professional and showed skill and competence in their work. The stone stairs and drainage channel they built for us look great, and they finished the entire project in a day.

Travis Fisher, Atlanta History Center
Very professional, knowledgeable, and reliable. We have only done a small project so far but Art of Stone kept a long-time scheduled appointment (unusual these days), did a great job on planting some arborvitae’s for us, and came back out immediately when we had one blow over during a big storm. They even secured the other trees as well. Suzanne is so knowledgeable and I look forward to working with them more on some bigger projects we have in mind.

Art of Stone completed a beautiful, meditation courtyard for me. My old landscaping was over grown and did not drain properly. My patio was just a slab of concrete. Art of Stone took out all of the old landscaping, prepped the soil, placed drainage, and covered my patio with pavers that coordinated with my home's brick. Instead of grass they placed large stones with dwarf mondo between them. My landscape plants are now a mixture of different types of ferns, hosta, and daylilies. They did an excellent job!
