Big Win! Our Team Takes Home a GALA Award
We’ve got some exciting news to share — we recently took home a GALA (Georgia Landscape Awards) award for our project “Dahlonega Perennial Garden,” and we couldn’t be more proud!
This project was all about blending beauty with purpose. The homeowners wanted to create a lawn-less landscape with no grass or mowing required, with native perennials that attract butterflies, bees and local wildlife, and that offered visual appeal throughout the year. Here’s what made this project special (and award-winning!):
- Pollinator Paradise: We selected a wide range of native and pollinator-friendly plants to keep bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects happy and healthy.
- All-Season Style: Whether it’s spring blooms, lush summer greens, vibrant fall colors, or interesting textures in winter, this landscape never looks dull.
- Sustainable (and low maintenance) by Design: We were intentional with every part of the project — the plants, the materials, the stone work, the layout — all aimed at creating a landscape that’s both beautiful and in tune with its surroundings.
The end result? A beautiful, low maintenance space that’s alive with movement and color all year long — and a proud moment for our entire team. Check out some images of the transformation:
This project not only won a Gold award, but it also won Judges Choice as well as an Earth Aware award. Big shoutout to our amazing crew for bringing this vision to life.
