Over the course of 4 years, we have transformed the entrance, side, and back of this Gainesville, GA home with stone. This blog focuses on building a spectacular front entrance.
As you can see, this unique home has bark siding, so it needs stone to protect the wood from the elements.

Before pictures show the mud, water and rot around the front of the house. It is a very shady spot, so the sun does not dry it out.
We did a water table with real natural stone, copper flashing, and added drainage to carry the water away from the house.
Isn’t this just beautiful???
